A Cozy Cornish Christmas and a Happy New Year

This Christmas forget peeling the sprouts and spuds and, if you’ll excuse us, stuff the turkey!

In fact we’ll do that for you if you’d care to join us for a cozy Cornish Christmas, opening your Christmas presents during one of our Christmas packages.

They’re not available online and can only be booked by calling us on 01736 710249 or by reserving on email reception@hotelcornwall.de

4 day package arriving from 2 pm on 23rd December

Check in, then check out the stunning views of the Mount from our panoramic lounge over a Cornish cream tea, and while you’re doing so we’ll take your bags to your room.

The afternoon is yours to unwind as you choose; perhaps a bracing walk on the beach as you’ll need an appetite to tackle a sumptuous three-course dinner, prepared by our Head Chef, Nathan Williams and his talented team, and served in our two AA Rosette awarded restaurant.

Then enjoy a blissful night’s sleep, waking up to a full Cornish breakfast served between 8 and 10am.
You’re then set up for a leisurely day exploring the fascinating and beautiful local area, perhaps grabbing a last minute gift from one of the local shops or galleries.

3 day package arriving from 2 pm on Christmas Eve

Once again our guests are greeted with a warm welcome, and a Cornish cream tea in our lounge whilst we take their bags to their rooms.

The only person working today and tonight is the one with a bright red suit and bushy white beard, now’s the time for you to do some serious relaxing.

Do as you please in the afternoon, you’re then cordially invited to join us in the bar from 6 pm for a complimentary flute of fizz, and if you’re not feeling Christmassy by now (but you will be), the Carols beautifully sung by the Apollo Marazion Male Voice Choir between 6.30 and 7.15pm will get you in the mood.

Dinner is served between 6.30 and 9.00pm, and what a dinner it will be!

Four superb courses, followed by a cheese board and a digestif of a glass of port, or sherry or desert wine.
In the main bar after dinner, coffee and petit-fours are served.

By now you may fancy a walk as you’ll be feeling somewhat replete. In which case perhaps a Christmas Eve night time stroll to All Saints Church, a few hundred yards down the hill into Marazion, to attend the Christmas Eve service.

This isn’t obligatory, instead you may prefer a nightcap in our bar, which remains open until 1.30am.

The Big Day

Santa’s tucked up in his bed after a hard night’s work, and your day begins with breakfast, served between 7 and 9.30am, with a glass of buck’s fizz.

You are then invited for a pre-lunch tipple in the bar between 11.30am and 12pm.

We hope you’ll have left some room after breakfast for a spectacular and utterly delicious Christmas lunch, served between 12 and 3.00pm.

Please view our Christmas Menu

It’s essential to book a sitting time, but we can arrange that once you’ve booked your stay.

We will be showing the Queen’s Speech at 3.00pm, and after Her Majesty has spoken, mince pies, a selection of cakes and coffee and tea are served, should you wish to spend the afternoon with us.

Between 8 and 10pm a traditional Christmas buffet will be served in the restaurant, so forget the turkey sandwiches!

Boxing Day

Yesterday was a great day, a tiring one too, so not too early a start today.

A bit of a lie-in, then head down to breakfast, or light lunch selection between 10.00am and 1.00pm.

A leisurely day, or remainder of, is yours to relax through. We can give you a list of places to explore nearby, or maybe just take it easy in the hotel – perhaps a good old-fashioned board game in the afternoon, which we’ll provide.

Between 6.30 and 9.00pm a three-course dinner is served in the restaurant, and after dinner we’d be delighted to have your company in the bar for a farewell cocktail.

Departure Day

It will have been a Christmas you’ll remember for many years to come, enjoy a leisurely breakfast between 8.30 and 10.30am and take your time to pack, before saying farewell to other guests you’ll have met and spent this special time of the year with.

Departure is around midday, but no hurry.
